A California transplant and ASU grad, Sarah Amaral is passionate about healthy fitness habits, corgis, and helping others in her community to change lives. As the Development & Special Events Senior Manager for Junior Achievement, she manages all facets of events ranging from conceptualization, fundraising, logistics, volunteer recruitment and management. Junior Achievement prepares students to succeed in work and life by teaching them how to manage their money, be ready to enter the workplace and to think innovatively. Sarah drives that
mission by raising awareness and funds throughout the community for Junior Achievement. In her four years at JA, her events have raised nearly $5million. She carries this passion for others into her personal life through involvement with charities, including being a current member of Suns 88. She also dedicates her holiday time
and money hosting a Friendsgiving for locals without families in town and delivering homemade treats to hospitals and first responders on Christmas Day.
