In late 2015, Jennifer Stancil became the President and CEO of the Glazer Children’s Museum. She brought her Emmy® award-winning PBS background combined with more than 15 years of working with children from birth to college to the region. Since her arrival, the Museum has brought Tampa the first educational motion-capture lab ever to be in a Museum in the world, won Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Non-Profit of the Year for 2017 in the Culture and Arts category, and has brought renewed energy to the Museum’s efforts to develop children as lifelong learners and leaders. An educational innovator, she is also the only female scientist in the region leading a cultural institution. As the Museum teaches kids to try on their futures for careers we can only dream about, Jen speaks nationally on raising the Imagination Generation and how our informal learning institutions can make true impact on a child’s life.
